Chandra Bhushan is an environmentalist and one of India’s foremost environment and climate change experts. He has wide-ranging research and public policy interests and holds a vast national and international work experience. He has researched, written and campaigned for issues ranging from climate change and circular economy to rights of mining-affected people and industrial pollution. He has authored/ co-authored 20 books and authored/ co-authored/ directed more than 60 reports.
Bhushan advises a range of institutions worldwide. He is an expert member for the BASIC (Brazil, South Africa, India, China) group of countries on Climate Change. He served as a Member, Engagement Committee of the Future Earth. He was conferred with Ozone Award by UN Environment in 2017 for his contributions towards the framing of the Kigali Amendments, Montreal Protocol. His academic credentials include Bachelors in Engineering and Masters in Environmental Planning and Technology.

Srestha is an environment and public policy professional with over ten years of experience in research and policy advocacy in India and the United States. She has worked on a wide range of issues including environmental governance, minerals and forest resource management, District Mineral Foundation (DMF), sustainable industrialization, urban sustainability, and community engagement and outreach. She has a Doctorate in environmental and energy policy (University of Delaware) and a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Ohio State University. She has worked with both Indian and US-based environmental think tanks and brings in both international and local perspective to her work.

Sujit has over 17 years of experience in research and capacity building in the environment and social assessment, air pollution, wastes management, compliance and enforcement, and benchmarking of industrial sectors. He has executed projects in India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Namibia and Zambia. He has successfully conducted over 100 training programmes for a wide range of stakeholders, including environmental regulators and industries, and has published reports/guideline on EIA, waste management, social assessment and compliance and enforcement. 



Shruti works at the intersection of vulnerable communities, resource management and climate change. She has worked with grassroots organisations as well as in policy think tanks and business. An economist by training, her work geographies have included some of India's most beautiful landscapes – from the Central Himalayas, to the tribal pockets of the Nilgiris biosphere, to semi-arid northern Karnataka. There, she coordinated work on natural resource management, rural livelihoods, forest rights and community mobilisation. What she cherishes most from these experiences is her connections with local communities, each in their own language. She has learnt the central importance of empowering communities and is convinced that ground-level change cannot happen unless local people are facilitated to drive it.

Rahul is a Mechanical Engineer and has been trained at Swedish Environment Protection Agency, Stockholm on pollution monitoring and compliance assurance. He has over a decade of experience in environmental audit and benchmarking, resource efficiency, pollution monitoring & control, waste management, and industrial air pollution. He has executed projects in India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Tanzania and Namibia. He has authored/co-authored five reports and guidelines on EIA, air pollution and pollution monitoring.

Sudha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Delhi University and a diploma in Secretarial Practice from YMCA, New Delhi.  She has over 20 years of experience in the field of accounting, administration, event management, and human resource development. She has worked with Centre for Science and Environment, Middlesex University London's Regional Office in New Delhi, and European Commission Health and Family Welfare Programme (ECH&FWP).

Dr Shah is one of India's foremost experts on groundwater management. He was Member Secretary of the Central Ground Water Authority and Member, Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. He spearheaded the National Aquifer Mapping and Management Programme and coordinated the groundwater resource assessment of the entire country. He has authored more than 20 reports and edited/co-edited five books and journals. His recent publication is ‘Water Governance- Challenges and Prospects’ published by Springer. He holds a PhD in groundwater management from IIT-ISM Dhanbad.



Sanjeev is an environmental research and advocacy professional with over 12 years of expertise in industrial pollution, resource efficiency, performance benchmarking and auditing. He is a well-known expert on Online Pollution Monitoring Systems, especially on CEMS and CEQMS.
He is a Master in Biosciences, a certified Sustainability Professional and trained at Swedish EPA, Stockholm and Norwegian EPA, Oslo. He is presently serving as Vice President (Strategy & Environment), Adage Automation Private Limited. He is also serving on various committees such as PM-ETS Market Oversight Committee, Forest and Environment Department Govt. of Gujarat, Management Systems Certification Scheme Committee, Bureau of Indian Standards, Member of Global Mercury partnership, UNEP, Member of Scientific Committee to CEM- International Conference and Exhibition on real-time monitoring, Europe and Coordinator to CEM India.

Ranjan Sahay is one of India's foremost experts on environmental management in the mining sector. He was Controller General of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines. He was also a member of the Environmental Appraisal Committee for Mining project (Non-Coal) at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). He played an important role in the formulation of policy for conservation of minerals, framing of MMDR Bill 2011, amendment of MMDR Act 2015 and in the framing of the Sustainable Development Framework (SDF). He holds a B. Tech (Hon.) in Mining Engineering, from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
